Scott M. Karson has been elected Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee, Inc. a non-profit, community based poverty law program that provides free legal assistance in civil (non-criminal) matters to low income, disabled and disadvantaged persons throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.  Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee, Inc. was established in 1966 and was the first Legal Services Corporation program in New York State.
