June 01, 2015 Scott M. Karson: Miranda Installed as President at New York State Bar Association Summer Meeting in Cooperstown
Scott M. Karson authored an article which reported on the New York State Bar Association annual meeting held in Cooperstown, New York from June 18 – June 20, 2015. The article, which appeared in the June 2015 issue of The Suffolk Lawyer, the newspaper of the Suffolk County Bar Association, included the meeting of the Association’s policy-making body, the House of Delegates, featured the formal installation of David P. Miranda of Albany as the Association’s 118th President. Former New York State Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye administered the oath of office to President Miranda. The meeting also marked the debut of NYSBA President Elect Claire P. Gutekunst as Chair of the House. Mr. Karson attended the meeting in his capacity as Vice President of the New York State Bar Association for the Tenth Judicial District.
