August 15, 2022 Authority to Conduct Remote Public Meetings Extended Through September 12

We are writing to advise you that the Governor issued an executive order over the weekend continuing the State COVID-19 disaster emergency through September 12, 2022. As a result, the authority to conduct remote public meetings will continue uninterrupted through September 12, 2022.
The new legislation regarding videoconferencing during public meetings that is outlined in our June 2, 2022 client memorandum will now become mandatory on September 13, 2022 (or later if the Governor extends the COVID-19 disaster emergency beyond September 12).
