The firm counsels and represents clients on a wide range of tax issues affecting business transactions for corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint ventures, sole proprietorships and individuals. We also advise clients on issues pertaining to their personal wealth, including matters involving federal and state income taxation of trusts and estates, and estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. We represent clients before the U.S. Tax Court, the Internal Revenue Service, and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in connection with a variety of income, gift and estate tax issues.
