Scott M. Karson - New York State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Tournament

Scott M. Karson was one of three judges presiding at the Suffolk County finals of the New York State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Tournament held at the United States Courthouse in Central Islip. Fellow judges were New York State Supreme Court Justice Mark D. Cohen and Thomas Spellman, Esq. The case that was heard was a criminal case in which the defendant was allegedly involved in a Ponzi scheme. The two schools involved were William Floyd (prosecution) and East Islip (defense). William Floyd was declared to be victorious, and will now go into the regional competition.
