Lisa A. Azzato received her law degree from Emory University School of Law where she received a Merit Scholarship and the American Jurisprudence Award in Ethics. She graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in English with Honors. First admitted in Georgia in 1988, she has been practicing in New York State since 2002. Her prior practice in New York focused primarily on litigation, business representation, mediation and arbitration, and land use and zoning. Ms. Azzato has served as an adjunct Professor of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Emory University School of Law and is a skilled mediator and arbitrator. Ms. Azzato has also been involved in Bar Association, community service and Law School activities. She has been published in the Suffolk Lawyer and chaired a Suffolk County Bar Association program entitled “Representing a Client in an Arbitration.” She will be working primarily in our Litigation and Labor and Employment Departments.
