Margaret K. Terry received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her law degree from Tulane University Law School, where she was Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review.  Ms. Terry began her career at the Washington, D.C. office of Thatcher, Proffitt & Wood.
