Lauren Schnitzer received her undergraduate degrees from Binghamton University and her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. While in law school, she was an editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and a recipient of the New York State Bar Association Law Student Bar Association Achievement Award. She also served as a judicial intern for Justice Kenneth A. Davis of the Nassau County Supreme Court and worked as a legal intern in the St. John’s University School of Law Elder Law Clinic, an on-campus public interest law firm. Ms. Schnitzer served as an assistant chapter editor for the Second Edition of the American Bar Association’s treatise entitled “Discipline and Discharge in Arbitration.” She is past chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Environmental Law Committee. She is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bars and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Ms. Schnitzer works in our Education, Labor, Municipal and Litigation Departments.
